AI FILE TRANSFER & AUTOMATION

Ask your AI,
and the files move.

Ask the AI you already use, such as ChatGPT, to transfer a file, or set up an AI agent to transfer the files its work needs on its own.

From natural-language file transfer to agent-driven automation, INNORIX moves files between servers and cloud storage from a single platform.

CONNECT YOUR AI

Connect file transfer
to the AI you already use.

There is no new AI service to adopt and no transfer engine to build. Connect INNORIX to an AI service that supports MCP, such as ChatGPT, or to your AI agent development environment.

A connected AI can search for files, run transfers and check their state, within the scope it is allowed.

FIND & TRANSFER

From finding the file
to transferring it, in one go.

You no longer have to sign in to every system to track down files scattered across servers and storage. Give the AI a file name or a search condition, and it looks the files up on the connected devices and transfers the one you choose to the destination you want.

From the search to the transfer result, it all continues in one conversation.

AI-POWERED AUTOMATION

The AI agent prepares the files,
then carries on with the work.

When an AI agent analyses data or generates a report and the file it needs lives in another system, it can be set up to transfer that file into its working environment through INNORIX.

Connect file preparation, transfer completion checks and the follow-up task into one automated workflow.

COMPLEX TRANSFERS

Many devices and complex conditions,
run with AI.

Distributing one file to many servers, or collecting data from several regions into one place, can be asked of the AI as well.

Specify conditions such as file type, size, source and destination, and the request can be set up to run through the transfer features INNORIX supports.

EXECUTION CONTROL

Once the transfer is complete,
the next task begins.

An AI requesting a transfer is not the same as the file transfer being complete. INNORIX reports transfer progress and completion, so an agent can be set up to confirm that the files are ready before it runs the follow-up task.

Even when a transfer fails or does not complete on some devices, the execution result is available and can be routed to whatever follow-up action is needed.

SECURITY & VISIBILITY

Even when AI runs it,
the transfer stays controlled and traceable.

The devices and files an AI or agent can reach are limited by authentication and permission policy. Transfer requests that are not permitted are blocked from running, and approval conditions can be applied where the work requires them.

File transfers started from an AI also appear in INNORIX Studio with their execution state and result, so the transfer work of people and agents is managed on one platform.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

What is AI file transfer and automation?

AI file transfer and automation means moving files between servers and cloud storage through natural-language commands or an AI agent's tool calls. INNORIX connects AI to the file transfer platform through MCP.

Can I transfer files from ChatGPT to a server or cloud storage?

Yes. Where the MCP connection is supported, registering INNORIX in ChatGPT lets you request file transfers between connected servers and storage in natural language. Actual availability depends on the AI service's MCP support conditions and on your access permissions.

Can I use INNORIX from Claude or Gemini as well?

You can integrate wherever the service or development environment offers a connection method and authentication compatible with INNORIX MCP. For specific support, check the integration specifications of that AI service and of INNORIX.

How does file transfer through an AI agent differ from ordinary AI chat?

In the AI chat approach, a user asks for a file search and transfer in natural language. In the AI agent approach, a developer designs a workflow in which the agent calls the file transfer tool when it needs to and performs the next task according to the completion result.

What is INNORIX MCP?

INNORIX MCP is the interface that lets an MCP-capable AI service or agent use INNORIX file lookup, transfer and status checks as tools. The file transfer itself is carried out by the INNORIX Platform.

Can AI search for and transfer files across several servers?

Yes. Within the connected devices and the access scope allowed, it can search for files and select transfer targets. Which files are searchable and which conditions are supported depend on the MCP tool's features and permission settings.

Can AI distribute files to many devices or collect them?

INNORIX supports 1:N transfers that distribute from one device to many, and N:1 transfers that collect from many devices into one place. From AI, such work can be requested within the transfer tools provided and the configured scope.

What do I need to do for an AI agent to automate file transfers?

Connect INNORIX MCP to your agent development environment and add the file search, transfer execution and completion-check tools to the workflow. The agent can then be set up to request a file transfer when needed, according to the conditions and permissions you specify.

Can an AI agent start the next task after the file transfer completes?

Yes. You can distinguish the transfer request being accepted from the transfer actually completing, and build the agent workflow so that the next task runs only after the completion result is confirmed. Handling rules for failures or partial completion can be designed separately.

Does this give AI access to every server and file?

No. An AI's transfer request is subject to INNORIX authentication and device access permissions as well. Access to and transfers involving devices that are not permitted are blocked, and approval conditions can be applied where needed.

Where can I see the record of file transfers AI has run?

In Runs in INNORIX Studio you can see the execution state and result of transfers started by AI. Transfer devices, execution history and completion state are managed together with ordinary INNORIX transfer jobs.

In AI file transfer, is file content passed to the AI model?

INNORIX device-to-device file transfer does not use the AI model as a relay for files. However, the extent of file names, metadata, tool responses or actual file content passed to the AI can vary with the integration method and the agent implementation, so check the applicable data handling policy separately.
